Each Coffee Break course guides you through a structured series of lessons, helping you build your understanding, master the grammar and extend your knowledge of the language, all in the length of a coffee break. With the Coffee Break Academy Memberships you'll be able to access multiple courses and take your own journey through the language at your own pace, safe in the knowledge you can use all of the courses of that Membership without requiring further purchases.

Please note that a Coffee Break Membership provides online-only access to the courses listed above and that you cannot download the associated materials to your device. If you wish downloadable access, please purchase individual courses separately.

*Be aware that Coffee Break Portuguese and Coffee Break Gaelic are currently being published. This means that as of November 2023, 18 lessons are available for each course. Subsequent lessons will be added to the Coffee Break Academy and made available to members on a regular basis.

Why buy a Membership?

If you're considering buying one of our Bundles or multiple courses in the same year then you may find the Membership better value. The Memberships provide access to multiple courses, so you can dip in and out of courses or work on multiple courses at once.

Are these tutor-led or self-access courses?

We've put together the Memberships in response to requests from learners who want access to our range of courses as self-access learning. The Memberships do not include tutor feedback or questions areas. They are intended as a self-access library of content for learners to work through at their own pace.

Are Membership courses downloadable?

An important element of the Memberships is that the course materials cannot be downloaded. The audio, video and text materials can be accessed online on the Coffee Break Academy and an internet connection is required to view these materials.

What if I want to download lessons?

If you'd rather have downloadable access to our lessons, you should use the lifetime access courses which can be purchased individually or in bundles. You can find the appropriate links here.

Does the Black Friday discount apply to first payment or all payments?

Our special Black Friday discount for the Memberships applies to all payments of the Membership. This means that you'll be benefit from the 40% discount on your subsequent payments.

Can I pay in any other currency?

You can buy a Coffee Break Academy Membership in $USD. Our system is limited to one payment currency for Memberships, so we unfortunately cannot offer Membership payments in other currencies. However, you will be able to purchase in $USD from anywhere in the world and your bank will carry out the automatic currency conversion at the time of purchase. We recommend that you consult a currency convertor such as xe.com to ensure that you are aware of the current exchange rate before purchasing.

Do Memberships include the Masterclass?

Our Memberships are focused on the self-access Coffee Break courses. Our Masterclass in French and Spanish and our forthcoming Italian Masterclass are guided courses which involve tutor feedback so these are not included in the Membership.

What's the difference between the Coffee Break Academy Memberships and the Coffee Break Club subscription?

The Coffee Break Academy Memberships provide access to our courses as listed above. We also offer an additional product, the Coffee Break Club, which provides access to an on-demand library of lessons. Note that the Coffee Break Academy Memberships do not include access to the CoffeeBreak Club.
